Kalamazoo, Mich. — Discover Kalamazoo, MLive and the Kalamazoo Gazette are teaming up to learn what you think are the coolest things to do in southwest Michigan (area code 269).
We’re not necessarily interested in just where the tourbooks tell you to go, but also those OTHER places. That hole in the wall where you first saw your favorite band, the picturesque, tree-lined road where you proposed to your fiance, the greatest place to buy a hat, the diner with juiciest burger on the planet. If you think it’s cool, we want to know.
After your responses have been compiled, we’ll be sharing the list so that visitors and residents alike can really explore our area – from Allegan to White Pigeon, Marshall to South Haven – with advice from those in the know. Think of it as a sort of bucket list for staycations. See if you can check off all 269 (and share your experiences as you do).
