Kalamazoo, Mich. — A craft beer cheaper than a Budweiser? It can happen at the Kalamazoo Beer Exchange!

The Kalamazoo Beer Exchange, located in downtown Kalamazoo, offers a wide selection of local and world-wide beers on tap.

Locals have many names for Kalamazoo Beer Exchange (“The Beer Exchange,” “KBE” or “The Exchange”), but no matter what they call it, they all have lots of love for this unique bar. And the love is state-wide: RateBeer.com named Kalamazoo Beer Exchange the No. 1 Bar in Michigan in 2013 and 2014!

Beginning at 6 p.m. each night is really when the fun begins. Watch the TV screens as beer prices change based on which brews people are buying — the supply and demand situation works just like the stock market! So, you can think of this as a stock market for beers.

The Kalamazoo Beer Exchange is located at 211 E Water St. in downtown Kalamazoo! It's open 11 a.m. to 1 a.m. Monday through Saturday (closed Sunday).

Enjoy a pint (or many) on the Kalamazoo Beer Exchange’s outdoor deck during the warm months.

And if that’s not exciting enough, just wait until the stock market crashes! This happens randomly throughout the night, and beer prices plummet to all-time lows!

Did you know? The Kalamazoo Beer Exchange was named the Best Bar in Michigan by RateBeer.com in 2013!

And the food? Well, it’s fantastic. The fajita nachos (served on fried flour tortillas) are incredible, and it offers great options for both meat-eaters and vegetarians alike!
