Tillers' Harvest Fest is a unique educational and community-building event around issues related to local farms and food.  It’s also fun (especially for kids), with lots of demonstrations (sorghum pressing, draft animal farming, blacksmithing, woodworking, timber-framing, etc.), a farm-wide scavenger hunt, local vendors, local food, and music (this year featuring the Kuungana Africa Drum and Dance Company from Flint).  Jack and Anne Lazor will be here from Butterworks Farm in Vermont as keynote speakers.  Jack recently published a book with Chelsea Green, The Organic Grain Grower.  Come spend the afternoon at our beautiful farm and historic farmstead in Scotts!
