Kalamazoo, Mich. — “What’s restaurant week?”
That was my question when I moved to Kalamazoo a few years ago.
Simply, Downtown Kalamazoo Restaurant Week is a budget-friendly way to experience some of downtown Kalamazoo’s fantastic dining options for a fraction of the price.
And, man is it great — even for picky eaters (like me).
For just $25 — or $10 (new this year) — you can sample some of downtown’s most exciting restaurants.
Get a $25 three-course meal for two. A sandwich, soup, drink, dessert and more for $10. …The combinations are endless. Just know that each restaurant has created a custom, crave-worthy meal-deal, so it’s the perfect time to try that hot-spot you’ve heard so much about.
This year, restaurant week is Jan. 27 through Feb. 2, and 16 restaurants are stepping up to the plate with delicious-looking menus, including: Epic Bistro, Gonzo’s Biggdogg Brewing, Old Burdick’s Bar & Grill, Irving’s Market & Deli, Mangia Mangia, Central City Tap House, Webster’s Prime, The Wine Loft, Garden Gate Cafe, Zazios, Food Dance, London Grill, Fandango, Kalamazoo Beer Exchange, (menus yet to be posted:) Comensoli’s Italian Bistro & Bar and The Union Cabaret & Grille.
So grab your date, family, or fly solo and head downtown this January. Can’t make it? Downtown Kalamazoo Restaurant Week typically happens in July, too!
