Kalamazoo, Mich. — The Kalamazoo County Fair is considered to be Michigan’s first fair.

Since I personally enjoy fairs, I can’t wait to go to this week-long fair! I love the smell of fried foods, the fuzzy sheep, and the midway screams.

The county fair offers specials and events each day, so be sure to check out its Website for details. I, for one, want to see Wednesday’s NBHA Barrel Horse Show, and I bet the hot dog eating contest will be super-fun to watch.
