Meeting & Event Space
Central City is Kalamazoo’s renovated,
Art Deco downtown district. Chic restaurants,
lively brew pubs, shopping and a thriving arts and
theater scene are only steps away from the
AAA, four-diamond Radisson Plaza Hotel. The
Radisson offers 341 guest rooms and 44,000
square feet of flexible meeting space. Historic
buildings, museums, galleries and theaters
are also available to provide a unique venue for your event.
Kalamazoo West features more than 600 full- and
limited-service hotel rooms. Planners will
appreciate the cluster of hotels located
near the 70,000 square foot
Michigan Technical Education Center,
which offers state-of-the-art meeting facilities,
and the 400-person ballroom at Pine West
Catering by Tarnow.
Kalamazoo East offers more than 1,000 full- and
limited-service hotel rooms for the rate-conscious
meeting planner. Wings Stadium and the Kalamazoo
County Center Building and Fairground provide
large, under-one-roof meeting and exhibit
venues, as well as sporting and music events.
Specialty properties abound in historic Kalamazoo
County. These venues include scenic conference
and golf resorts, the famous Kellogg Manor
and Brook Lodge, former homes of W.K. Kellogg
and Dr. William Upjohn respectively, as well
as impressive facilities on the Western Michigan
University campus.
