333 S. Park Street,
Kalamazoo, MI 49007
T (269) 375-8840
The first building to be constructed by and for
a women’s organization
in the United States, the Ladies Library features ornamental
ironwork, limestone decorative tiles and stained glass windows. Once
the town
library, the Ladies Library Association preserves and
displays the original books along the walls of the reception area.
An inviting
stairway leads up to a warm auditorium—dressed with hardwood
floors, a stage and piano. The members of the Ladies
Library Association will be happy to prepare homemade
foods for your event in this economical
venue located next to the Civic Theatre.
