Thanks to everyone who attended the student appreciation performance of THE CAKE last night. It was a smash! The cast is excellent: Zoë Vonder Haar, Steve Isom, Molly Spiroff and Tia Pinson deliver exciting, nuanced performances filled with many layers of emotion. We are proud of them and also of how the show looks and sounds so here is some appreciation for our incredible team behind the scenes: Our director, D. Terry Williams has blended all the ingredients and baked a very successful theatrical cake. He has mentored his Asst. Director, Danielle Kropveld, all while expertly guiding a top notch design team: Props Designer Jody Badalamenti, Lighting Designer Kristen Chesak, Scenic Designer Dan Guyette (our design based on original design by Dan Gray at @humanracetheatre in OH), Sound Designer Tony Mitchell, Tech Director Gunnar Schmidt, Costume Designer Kathryn Wagner, Scenic Artist Alexa Wiljanen, Wardrobe Supervisors Marcia & Tom Smith and Hair/Wig Designer Ryan Singleton. Meanwhile our Stage Management team Roger Burleigh, Carrie Phillips and Julie Minar keep it all running so smoothly. We are so grateful for all of you! 🎂 THE CAKE runs February 7-23. Call 343-2727 or visit farmersalleytheatre.com for single tickets! 🍰 #farmersalleytheatre #downtownkalamazoo #thecake #bekahbrunstetter #lgbt #lgbtq🌈

Get to know one another’s drink styles with a wine or spirits tasting

Thank you for the invite @greendoordistilling !!! All of their spirits were very unique and SO good!!! Left to right: • 🥃Get Lost Vodka- this vodka is unlike anything I’ve tasted! It has a buttery, almost popcorn like finish! Great to sip on its own, but still smooth enough to mix with any cocktail! • 🥃Barrier Ridge Bourbon • 🥃Abandoned Gin- Floral & Citrus flavors come through with this Gin and it’s absolutely the most unique Gin I have ever tasted! • 🥃High Point Honey Whiskey- Made with local Honey so there isn’t any artificial flavors! Would mix perfectly with Barrier Ridge Bourbon • 🥃Backpack Java Liqueur- This is great on its own, but would pair perfectly with Coffee or Hot Chocolate! Or their Boozy Barista Cocktail . . . . Stay tuned for some behind the scenes pictures, and how they came up with the name Green Door! . . . #GreenDoorDistilleryCo #GreenDoor #GreenDoorDistillery #DowntownKzoo #TogetherDowntown #DiscoverKzoo #Vodka #Bourbon #Whiskey #Gin #GetLostVodka #BarrierRidgeBourbon #AbandonedGin #HighPointHoneyWhiskey #BackpackJava
