In case you're not convinced as to why you should attend this special event, here are five fun facts about the Street Rod Nationals North in Kalamazoo!

1 - This will be the 35th time the NSRA Street Rod Nationals North has been held in Kalamazoo and an all-time high number of participants and spectators are expected this year.

2 - A variety of cars and trucks in attendance ranging in value from $8,000 to $100,000, each with an average of $28,000 per vehicle, worth of over $50 million dollars will be in attendance!

3 - A street rod and a hot rod are not one and the same! A street rod is a vehicle manufactured prior to 1949, that has been modified for travel on today's highways.
A hot rod would be the same except for a post 1948 vehicle. Most Street Rods at the show are from the 30's and 40's but you will see a few from the teens and 20's.

4 - The show gets many cars from Canada every year and participants come from all over the east coast states to the mid-west states.
Returning will be the "Vintage Parts Swap Meet", offering used and/or old original automotive parts for sale from all over North America!

5 - Some members still have and drive the same car they did in high school 40-50 years ago!
