Located in Northern Kalamazoo County, Markin Glen County Park was once the estate of Morris Markin, founder of the Checker Motors Corporation of Kalamazoo. The park was developed through the efforts of the Park Foundation of Kalamazoo County and its generous donors. Markin Glen features a beach and modern campground.
