Cornhole

Wiffle Ball

 

Put that wicked curveball to the test in a game of wiffle ball with the family. We never said you have to go easy… And once you master it, the Kalamazoo Wiffle Ball League will be waiting for you. 

 

 

 

Kubb

 

This underrated back yard sport should definitely be added to your list of must-try games. It's competitive, addicting and different from others of its kind. Here's a how-to video to help you learn the ins and outs of kubb.

Bocce Ball

 

 

 

Also known as Italian lawn bowling, this game doesn't call for a ton of equipment. All you need is a stretch of level ground and a bocce ball set which can be bought at most retail stores. If you have any questions on the sport, Kalamazoo Italian American Club is a great resource. They host a bocce ball tournament every year, so they know what they're talking about.  

 

 

 

Horseshoe

 

 

 

Thankfully you don't need an actual horse for this game, just their shoes and a couple stakes in the ground (around 40 feet apart) and you're ready to go. If you're looking to take your horseshoe skills to the next level, the Kalamazoo Area Horseshoe Club is the place for you.
