Hike at Lillian Anderson Arboretum
Aside from academic uses of the Arboretum, this lovely outdoor space can be used for recreational purposes by students and community members. Take a walk or run along the trails, and bring your dog (on leash!) and your friends and family!

Wolf Lake Fish Hatchery
Established in 1927, the Wolf Lake Fish Hatchery currently produces steelhead, Chinook salmon, walleye and Great Lakes muskellunge for both inland and Great Lakes waters. This hatchery also has a visitor center that provides programs telling the tale of the Great Lakes fisheries and the vital role played by hatcheries.

Al Sabo Preserve
Go on a hike or mountain bike ride at Al Sabo Preserve. The habitats here are a diverse mix of woods, wetlands, and open meadows. Many trails are marked and easy to follow, but many are unmarked and unmapped trails.

A family-owned and operated, farm-to-table style restaurant and microbrewery located just outside of Kalamazoo in Texas Township. Their menu features fresh, made-from-scrap options that are available nowhere else. Beer and cider selections are 100% crafted by them as well. They include familiar beer styles, hard cider from apples grown in their family's orchards, and experimental small-batch brews.
