Disc golf certainly meets the requirements of a sport you can enjoy outdoors, while still maintaining a 6 foot distance from others.
Whether you’re practically a pro or just looking to try something new, we put a list together of disc golf courses in the area that are ready to welcome you with open arms.

 
Oshtemo Township Park

Oshtemo Township Park is one of Michigan’s best courses. It is a well-balanced course that requires accurate drives to score well. You can find a colored map of the park here  and a score sheet here.
This 70-acre park features a playground, a paved loop trail, accessible restrooms, two picnic pavilions, tennis, pickleball, and basketball courts and a wiffleball field.
The forested area of the park, with rolling hills and an overlook deck, features a network of unpaved walking trails and is popular for hiking.

 

Vicksburg Recreation Area

Located north of the village, the Recreation Area is home to an 18 hole disc golf course, is about 8,000 feet in length, and has extensive trails that overlook ponds, marsh, and wooded areas perfect for appreciating nature. The park also offers substantial parking, picnic area, and large fields for outdoor activities.

 

Spring Valley Park

This course is located just off of Riverview Drive on Mount Olivet Road, and is the perfect spot to admire wildlife and the natural beauty of the area all while enjoying a round of disc golf.  This course can be challenging from the long tees, featuring rolling hills, woods and beds of water, but the short tees are fun for any skill level.

Robert Morris Park

Located in Comstock Township, this 18- hole course will test you but remind you of the beauty of this recreational sport. It’s the perfect balance between experienced and first-timer.

Cold Brook County Park

Cold Brook County Park consists of 276 acres primarily of water in the form of three lakes and unique wetlands. It’s also home to a 24- hole championship disc golf course, volleyball court, softball field, campsites and much more. Cold Brook has something that everyone will enjoy. Learn more here.

 

Knollwood

Knollwood Park covers nearly 20 acres and is located just west of Western Michigan University’s campus. This 18- hole disc golf course is situated in a peaceful wooded setting and is the perfect spot for the beginning disc golfer.
