Founder of The Roché Collection, Nicole Triplett opened Twine Urban Winery in the Washington Square neighborhood of Kalamazoo in spring 2021. Nicole is by all well known accounts the first Black Female Licensed Wine maker in Michigan!

In an industry that struggles with diversity and inclusion, Twine's urban location makes it accessible to those looking for a wine tasting experience without leaving the city, and the menu offers fun and fruit forward blends that are an approachable and inclusive take on traditional old style wine.

At Twine Urban Winery, the vibe is upbeat and friendly, with a selfie station available to capture your experience, delicious charcuterie boards to snack on and colorful wine slushies on tap; with flavors like Green Apple, Peach Mango and Mai Tai.

You can also indulge in drinks that are perfect for Michigan's changing seasons, like Red Wine Hot Chocolate in the winter or Strawberry Watermelon Patch to cool you off in the summer. They also offer non-alcoholic drinks that pack the same punch of fun and flavor in a mocktail option.

If you're looking for a truly unique and delicious experience and a place to enjoy local wine with family and friends, you will find that at Twine Urban Winery.
