We had a blast this weekend racing and hanging out with amazing friends! My dogs made me very proud, I couldn’t be happier 😊 Zip did absolutely amazing for his first race!! I am beyond proud! We placed 5th out of 26 in all breed one dog bikejor! He’s a very fast boy 😁 We just need to work on his directional commands and keeping speed on corners, but he has such great potential! I’m already excited for next season! Zavala was so happy to race again! She had so much fun racing with my mom in canicross. Made my heart so happy to see her back doing with she loves ♥️ Nova and Nax did also did great in two dog bikejor! They were a solid team and made me proud as usual 😊 A big thank you to @teamrunninghusky for capturing this amazing photo of us! – – – – – #nahaksports #bikejoring #mountainbike #drylandmushing #mushing #urbanmushing #sleddogs #sleddogsport #happyhuskies #fueledbyruffbar #primitivechoice #bikingwithdogs #dogsport #runyourdognotyourmouth #fastdogs #dogsledding #biking

Fall Bike Celebration Weekend

September 20, 2019 – September 22, 2019

The welcome mat will be out for bicyclists throughout the spectacular inaugural Fall Bike Celebration weekend (September 20-22, 2019), featuring a Ride with fantastic routes through the beautiful Southwest Michigan countryside during the day, plus a separate charity fundraising Awards & Recognition Dinner that Saturday evening. The routes feature views of the hauntingly beautiful beautiful Vicksburg Quilt Barn Trail — huge paintings unmatched anywhere in our region — each one telling a different story.

Kalamazoo Tweed Ride

October 5

Take a glorious slow roll 4.5-mile bike ride through the city of Kalamazoo with us, ending in a big, old-timey party. While the theme is turn-of-the-century and we have prizes for best dressed, all looks are welcome: Dapper, Simple, or Athletic/Cyclist! All proceeds for Kalamazoo Tweed Ride support our year-round youth bike programs!

West Michigan Beer and Bicycle Tours

West Michigan Beer Tours offer a variety of public bicycle and walking tours. A typical tour will last approximately 4 hours and will typically include at least three brewery stops, tour director knowledgeable in both the beer industry and our local area, a meet & greet with the brewer and tours of their facility (when available), samples at each location and a commemorative stainless steel pint or commemorative water bottle!

5. Plenty of Breweries to Quench Your Thirst

Kalamazoo is home to 16 unique breweries! No matter what trail or route that you choose to ride, you’re sure to find a brewery to unwind at along the way.

If acquiring beer is your main goal, and you’re just looking to get to it in style, consider meeting up with a community ride like the Kzoo Pub Peddlers! Just bring your classic bike and peddle the pubs of Kalamazoo! This group meets every Thursday night in Bronson Park at 5pm.
