This tour travels past lush vineyards and orchards at the peak of harvest season. Cyclists pass by woodlands, rivers, lakes and neighboring Villages. Starting location is the Van Buren County Human Services Building, north of Lakeview Community Hospital at 801 Hazen Street. Registration is from 7:00 am to 9:00 am, with the tour starting 8:00 – 9:00. Learn More.
The welcome mat will be out for bicyclists throughout the spectacular inaugural Fall Bike Celebration weekend (September 20-22, 2019), featuring a Ride with fantastic routes through the beautiful Southwest Michigan countryside during the day, plus a separate charity fundraising Awards & Recognition Dinner that Saturday evening. The routes feature views of the hauntingly beautiful beautiful Vicksburg Quilt Barn Trail — huge paintings unmatched anywhere in our region — each one telling a different story. Learn more.
3rd Annual XTERRA Fort Custer Off Road Triathlon, Duathlon and XTERRA Trail Run event. Event includes short course triathlon, Duathlon and 7.0 Mile Trail Run. Great venue plenty of parking with no long distances to walk. The 2019 event will be for 2020 points. This is a late in the year event but we’ve had very good weather. Learn more.
A fast, fun and challenging course utilizing Fort Custer’s RED, GREEN & YELLOW trails awaits you! Whether you’re looking to keep up your conditioning as Iceman awaits or perhaps attempting your first Mountain Bike race, Custer’s Last Stand is a great race for you.
The 9 miles of trail is 95% single track, but affords enough passing room for courteous racing. Participants will be sent off every 10-20 seconds so there’s plenty of space between riders. Learn more.
Take a glorious slow roll 4.5-mile bike ride through the city of Kalamazoo with us, ending in a big, old-timey party. While the theme is turn-of-the-century and we have prizes for best dressed, all looks are welcome: Dapper, Simple, or Athletic/Cyclist!
